Dora the Explorer Talking House

She’s got her own house! The Dora the Explorer Talking House!
Dora the Explorer is one of the coolest cartoons on television these days. She’s funny, smart, and even bilingual! Oooh yeah! Boys and girls love Dora, and all the coolest Dora merchandise is a must have for them. In 2004 the Dora the Explorer Talking House was a huge hit with all die-hard Dora fans!
That’s right; Dora the Explorer has her own house! Er, casa, actually. The Dora the Explorer Talking House is a two-story home for Dora, Mami, Poppi, and Dora’s friend boots. The Dora the Explorer Talking House is something kids just can’t keep their hands off with it’s bright colors, decorative interior, and buttons and switches which all feature an English or Spanish phrase. The Dora the Explorer Talking House has three year old Dora fans saying, “This is my familia!” nonstop!
This past holiday season the Dora the Explorer Talking House was one of the toys on the “hot list”. After Thanksgiving stores couldn’t keep the Dora the Explorer Talking House in stock, and frustrated parents were cursing the house! Online toy retailers sent out emails when the Dora the Explorer Talking House came in stock, and within moments, they were sold out again. Apparently, everyone wanted the Dora the Explorer Talking House for Christmas!
The Dora the Explorer Talking House comes with Dora, Mami, Poppi, and Boots. There are other Dora the Explorer friends and family members sold separately, of course. As far as furniture goes, a couch comes with the house, and there is many, many, many other Dora the Explorer Talking House accessories sold separately. Don’t you love that? Sold separately, makes parents cringe!
Overall, the Dora the Explorer Talking House is a good buy. Although, I sort of recoiled at the almost fifty dollar price tag when I saw it. But, it’s gotten more than fifty dollars worth of play, as even the neighbor boy loves the house! Boys and girls just dig Dora for some strange reason…
The Dora the Explorer Talking House is large enough that two children can easily play at once, and the colorful house seems to be constructed well. At my house, it’s still holding up after a fearless two year old decided it would make a good step stool on several occasions! The best part about the house is that it expands and retracts, so it’s big enough to play with, but small enough to store well when the kids aren’t playing with it!
The Dora the Explorer Talking House is available at most toy stores and online toy retailers. The price of the house is usually right about fifty dollars, and although it seems like a lot, it’s worth it! The little add on accessories make good birthday gifts or surprises long after the house is bought, so it’s the gift that just keeps on giving! Go on; go get a Dora the Explorer Talking House. You know you want to…
