Sony Wega TV, What’s Your Next Toy Gonna Be?

Everyone wants a large TV, in fact the bigger the better, right? Right. I have been looking into what my next TV will be. I have already made the purchase “OK’d” in my mind. I have a bigger family now, so I of course, I need a bigger TV. I would love to have a TV in my kitchen to watch while I cook dinner, so I need to replace the one I have now, with a bigger TV… yep, it’s on. I have been looking at the Sony Wega TV and I like what I see. I have been reading reviews and it all sounds great. I have made my choice. Sony Wega TV, it will be.

The Sony Wega TV weighs a whopping 235 pounds! All muscle underneath that beautiful exterior. And it will look great in that extra room, throw in a pool table, couch, mini-bar, and the biggest Sony Wega TV I can afford. You know the room, the one you create as a recreational room to have football parties and impress all your friends with.

The review on this product looks great. Sony has always been on the cutting edge of television technology, introducing better television tubes all the time and their WEGA line of TVs seem to be no exception. The Sony Wega TV is the premium line of their product line up. There are 2 models of the WEGA series. The standard WEGA TV (KVXFM35 approx $1799) and the premium WEGA (KVEF29M31 approx $2799).

The difference is that the premium WEGA comes with PiP (Picture in Picture), Virtual Dolby Surround Processing and Component Video In where as the standard does not. Also, the premium goes even further with its image over the WEGA normal FD Triniton tubes by including Power Velocity Modulation, Kirara Colour Phosphors, Intelligent Picture Noise Cancellation and Dynamic Electromagnetic Quadrapole, but don't ask me what they mean, but I assume it increases image quality even more! Visit Sony's website for more details. The price difference is approx. $1000 between each model, which is quite a large difference.

Even though I will have it for a football party rec room, I am sure I will get caught a few times weeping to a good ol’ chick flick, or possibly even my wedding video. I can’t wait.
