Apple Helps Out Designing the New Motorola Cell Phone

One new Motorola cell phone is the Motorola RAZR V3. This phone comes with an ultra-thin handset, a precision cut keyboard and anodized aluminum case, High-res dual-color displays, and Quad-band technology for broad global coverage. The new Motorola cell phone RAZR V3 also comes with a digital camera complete with zoom so you can take pictures with your phone. You can then send these pictures and other information to your PDA, computer, or another phone using the Bluetooth enabled capabilities of your new Motorola cell phone. The RAZR V3 is available from companies like Cingular for less than $400.

A new version of the RAZR will soon be available, however. This new Motorola cell phone is the RAZR CDMA. The Motorola CDMA will feature an upgraded 1-Megapixel camera built into the phone. However, no offical annoucement has come from Motorola about when this new cell phone will be available in North America. Asia is slated to receive the new Motorola cell phone this summer. What is good for those of us in the U.S. is that we will be able to use the CDMA version of the RAZR on Sprint PCS and Verizon Wireless networks as well.

A new Motorola cell phone is on the way that has been developed with Apple computers. This new cell phone is designed to play music purchased from Apple’s iTunes online music store. However, Apple does not see this new Motorola cell phone as a replacement or competitor with their popular iPod. Rather, they would like you to think of this new cell phone as an accessory to the iPod. "Wouldn't it be great if you could take a dozen of your favorite songs with you [on a cell phone]” Apple CEO Steve Jobs had to say about this new Motorola cell phone. Personally I feel that if you already have an iPod you don’t really need to put songs on your cell phone, but if you have some extra cash and like that idea, I say go for it.

This new Motorola cell phone designed in collaboration with Apple computers will also let you connect to a MAC or a PC running Windows by utilizing Bluetooth technology. This direct connection to your computer would likely bypass wireless data networks owned by large wireless carriers such as Verizon Wireless, the joint venture of Verizon Communications and Vodafone and Cingular Wireless, the joint venture of BellSouth and SBC Communications because consumers wouldn't be required to pay unnecessary network fees to download music.

Although this will be a new Motorola cell phone via Apple computers, it is not the first joint endeavor between the two companies. Motorola was asked numerous times to supply chips for Apple Computers even as far back as the Apple II in the 1970s. This was back when Motorola was still in the semiconductor business, something that is now taken on by the Motorola overseen unit Freescale Semiconductor, which incidentally is the supplier of microprocessors for Apple's Powerbook G4 and iBook G4 computer lines.

So if you need a new Motorola cell phone, there are already a ton to choose from at your local carrier or online. However, there are also a few new Motorola cell phones that will soon be available. This means that, as with most new technology, what is new today could quickly become old and even obsolete, so it’s best to choose wisely when looking for a new Motorola cell phone. Do you want something that is inexpensive, something that can connect to a computer, something that can carry music from iTunes, or a cell phone that integrates all of this technology?
